Linus Wright is the Former Undersecretary of Education under President Reagan and has been in the field of education for many years.

After Washington, Linus spent 12 years in executive search while co-founding Educational First Steps, a non-profit for Pre-K disadvantaged children. Now retired, he is determined to spend his energies and experience seeing to it that public education is not reformed but totally restructured. In the meantime, he works with a number of non-profits, among them the Boy Scouts of America. For them, he leads a nationally recognized program called “Learning for Life”, providing a curriculum for character education K-12.
Linus’ theme: “If we are going to change the world, we must develop the whole person – one’s intel- lectual, physical, and emotional beings – but, maybe most important of all, one’s character.”
