KERA Airing: Is Corporate Ethics an Oxymoron?
Join us this Sunday, November 15th at 12 noon on KERA, Channel 13 for McCuistion TV’s episode: Is Corporate Ethics an Oxymoron?
Amidst the financial meltdown over the last few years, there has beenĀ a seeming breakdown of the ethics of corporate executives. Some observers believed that the regulatory changes under Sarbanes-Oxley legislation passed in 2002 would eliminate illegal and unethical behavior, but is that the case?
Joining Dennis McCuistion to discuss this and other issues surrounding this question are:
- Sharon Allen: Chairman of Deloitte LLP
- Todd M. Bluedorn: CEO of Lennox International,Inc
- Jared Richardson: Sr. Counsel of Energy Future Holdings

This was a great program. I learned so much. 1st Class Kids is an educational non-profit that provides life-skill education to families and children to reduce family violence, abuse and neglect. Another issue we are hitting strongly on, as I am a chef, is avoiding childhood obesity.
We are looking to expand our board in the North Texas area by 4 people. This program was absolutely fantastic in covering today’s governance issues. The statistics presented were relivant to our non-profit and I would like to discuss what it takes to make a great charity from a governance perspective.
We want to be role models without over regulating our volunteers and employees. Sharon Allen was absolutely brilliant in her articulation and her answers. She was truly inspiring.
